Did you know that animals can carry past-life trauma that may contribute to behavioral problems? They can also be influenced by attachment of energies, positive or negative. At the time of this session, Rafa was a two year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. His owners were giving him away because they were moving so my cousin, Shana and her boyfriend adopted him.
Rafa seemed to be completely out of control, dug threw the trash, escaped out of his crate, was aggressive to men and other dogs, was extremely impulsive and had no manners whatsoever. He was highly anxious and insecure. My cousin, as patient as she is, was at her wits end and some people had even suggested euthanizing him! Can you imagine?
I asked her if we could try to help and she agreed so Karen acted as his surrogate to find information and bring through healing. Because energy is not bound by time and space, a surrogate acts as a stand-in to connect with Rafa's energy because he cannot do it on his own.
As you'll see in the video of the session below, he was carrying past-life trauma that was affecting him now. His anxiety was due mostly to abandonment issues and mistrust of humans - - and you'll find out why he was digging in the trash...Saddest thing I've ever heard. You'll also see why he runs around the house and acts impulsively.
This session was done about 6 months ago and I received a recent update on Rafa. He is now having way less anxiety, no more digging in the trash, he goes in his crate willingly and he even likes people now! He really does want to be a good boy. Clearing away the cellular memory of that trauma allowed for easier development and training for the parents. They are still working on socializing him with other animals and having him not freak out so much at the window when strangers pass by but what amazing progress in such a short time!
Sometimes just having a deeper understanding of why your pet is having behavioral issues is enough to help you have more patience for working with them. It takes dedication and a LOT of patience to have animals so always be aware of that before adopting. As much as we think we are teaching them, they are teaching us just as much and even more. We are Divinely guided to each other for those purposes and as you'll see, Rafa and my cousin, Shana are a perfect fit. Karen and I are honored and grateful to be a small part of their journey.️
